school of architecture requires an intensive education through experiencing and continuous discourses.  Unlike discourses that can be done anytime or anywhere by anybody, experiencing process should somehow relate to personal empiric knowledge that needs its spatial contexts

Bouwkunde or school of architecture is a place to learn anything related to spatial design and engineering which based on one’s spatial understandings or experience, thus making it sometimes subjective, or somehow ‘myterious’.  But even so, the founding of such mystery may lead to variety of understandings and outcomes that eventually create many possible solutions for future civilization.

The new blackbox for Bouwkunde is located on the exact spot as the old one and sitting on the exact whitened podium, as to represent its state of contemporary yet mysterious building that look calmly to withstand any weather/natural condition

Once we get inside the building the mystery of having the ’same old situation’ of multi-storey space are slightly reduced by continuous ramps, stair and voids to connect and communicate each vertical layer to the other as design is also a media to communicate.
